Welcome to Saint Catherine Protected Area, where you mix the joy with the adventure, gain a unique experience between the high mountains and breathe the real meaning of nature.
Challenge yourself by hiking to reach the summit of saint Catherine mountain 2640m above sea level.
Duration: Thursday 3 April morning to Saturday 5 April (arrive Cairo by night)
Fees: 500 le
(including transportation, accommodation,hiking guide, excluding food)
Transportation: Air Conditioned luxurious bus
Accommodation: Sheikh Mousa Camp (the best camp in saint Catherine, clean bathrooms & nice rooms with beds)
Food: choose from camp menu
Egyptian Breakfast: around 21 le (optional)
Lunch: Around 25-35 le (optional)
This track is for intermediate hikers, and is not suitable for amateur hikers, having an experience in mosses mountain & reaching its top doesn’t mean you are intermediate hiker.
Mosses mountain track is for amateurs. Not anyone can join this event; Saint Catherine Mountain needs fitness and experience in Hiking.
So during the next few days we will add some instructions and regulations, also we will make a hiking test for all members who will book their places in this event, the hiking test will be in Wadi Degla National Park on Friday 28 March 2014. More details coming soon.
